La Salamandre - Beauvais

Stayed in a spacious, beautifully decorated standard double room. The location felt safe, just a short walk from the town center, very convenient. Our host was friendly during check-in and even sent us a video to locate the key for our late arrival. The breakfast included fresh pastries, coffee, and a variety of fruits, but I was hoping for a wider selection, maybe some bread or eggs to enhance it. The shared bathroom setup was a bit challenging, lacking privacy and an adequate extractor fan. The courtyard was charming and perfect for enjoying evening drinks. The noise from the staircase did disrupt our tranquility at times. Despite the few issues, our stay was enjoyable due to the lovely atmosphere and comfortable bed.

Location: the hotel was right by city centre, that airport instead of one of the actual Paris airports and Cathedral and delicious breakfast. Ate at Sayori Sushi, it's approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the venue.

This hotel is nice, and has everything I need, like wi-fi in rooms, a bar/lounge area, and tv. I remember the staff helping me with my room issue late at night. They are always friendly. Highly recommend! I'm coming back for a city break.

It was just a good match for a day tour in Beauvais with best value for money ratio. A slow 10-minute walk took us to the center where we enjoyed fresh produce from the street market. Use the provided video directions for after-hours check-in.

First off, there were no proper storage options for clothes in the room. The lack of an adequate shower setup was disappointing, and the absence of soundproofing meant every sound from the staircase was amplified. I also felt the host could have shown more hospitality. His abruptness.

La salamandre is a lovely place with a beautiful old-world charm. The superior suite was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast on the terrace was fresh and healthy. It's close to the town centre and features a wonderful back garden with eggs from their own chickens. We loved the attention from the friendly host.

The location of the hotel is great and perfect, very close to a Roman Catholic church. the breakfasts are gorgeous with croissants and local cheeses, and the staff is amicable.
